For two straight years, Cavite State University (CvSU) proved its feat as the top performing school in criminology in the CALABARZON Region and earned the 3rd spot in the country, based on the results of the Criminologist Licensure Examination (CLE) given by the Board of Criminology in December 2018.
As per Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010, CvSU was ranked 3rd, with 50 or more examinees and with at least 80% passing percentage.
Out of 41,341 takers all over the country, 14,324 passed the said examination. The College of Criminal Justice (CCJ) listed 62 out of 65 first time takers who passed the examination, recording an all-time high of 95.38 passing percentage as against the 34.65 national passing percentage.
During the administrative council meeting, Dr. Hernando D. Robles, university president, congratulated and acknowledged the dedication and commitment of the College, headed by its dean, Dr. Famela Iza Cabe-Matic, in producing competent graduates.
Meanwhile, for two years in a row, CvSU Bacoor Campus, has recorded an impressive 100 passing percentage in the same examination. To date, there are 560 colleges and universities offering criminology program in the country. Congratulations!
